This is an essential piece of kit if you are taking your D40 off the beaten track, offering maximum protection for your vulnerable front differential and engine sump.
The two guards are laser cut from 6mm ALUMINIUM and precision bent to ensure a perfect fit. They feature a laser cut LAO logo.
Hardware is included. Requires drilling to fit (enlarging two holes), as well as installation of riv-nuts (included) into existing holes. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Available in four finishes:
Raw aluminium (ready for you to coat)
Satin black paint (this is the best option for a guard that is going to see a lot of use, as it is easily re-finished) : + £35.
Powder coated (tough and durable but not easily touched up if it comes into heavy contact with rocks) : + £120(default: black. Other RAL colours available at an additional fee.)
The standard powder coat and raptor colour is black. Please contact us if you require another colour.
We also offer a coloured backplate (to sit behind the LAO logo):
Red : + £25
Blue : + £25
Feel free to contact us if you require a different sump guard thickness or a different material, i.e., stainless steel.
Fitting of the front section underbody protection at our workshop is a further £25.
Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery, as the sump guards are fabricated to order.
